Reserva Red by Quinta dos Grillos
wild berry - structured - licorice spice - long
-----
Portuguese wines have long been known for being simultaneously bold and food-friendly. Plus, with (typically) less recognition than Spanish wines, the price points can still be surprisingly approachable. Grilos Reserva hails from one of the most established DOC's: Dão in north-central Portugal, where winemaking is an ancient art. It is a blend of three robust yet balanced grapes, bringing forth the strengths of each.
