Cabernet Franc

Born in the Loire region of France in the mid 12th-century, Franc (Fronk), is the milder parent of Cabernet Sauvignon. Mostly used as a blending wine with you know who (<--) because it ripens earlier in cool climates. On it's own it offers mellowed tannins for those that don't enjoy the stick-to-your-lips effect and want a great food forward wine.
